By no means did I mean trade for Exelby...I was just noting he is better than OD right now...I dont think DL should trade for any defensemen...He has way too many right now....

If he could move Purcell, Ivanans and Fro and maybe Ersberg for a top 6...I would be happy with that

Burke is really trading for this year, he doesn't want to finish last overall, Boston would get the best junior player, Taylor Hall, Its quite possible MR BURKE will ruin this team and I do not like TO at all, bringing up those 3 nobodies from the AHL is a joke, we would have been better up off with Hanson Sr, at least he could fight, his son does neither, just my 2 cents.

how does this trade make TOR better this year? they gave up their top goal scorer for a d-man on a team that is stacked on the blueline but can't score?

i think burke realizes they will finish in the bottom five this year but they won't be last. EDM has that locked up. i'm sure he's hoping to get out of the east cellar but i don't think he's planning on making the playoffs.

boston may get lucky in the lottery and get hall, but no matter what they are going to get a quality player. even if TOR gets hot they still aren't likely to make the playoffs and i think Burke knows that. i think he moves kaberle still.
