Hero or Prospect?

Just browsing through the new 09-10 H&P stuff on ebay, when i came across:

09/10 ITG Heroes and Prospects Sergei Kostitsyn Jersey

out of curiosity, where would you file this guy under? Seems to me for the title of the set, it doesnt really fit

I'd still classify him as a prospect. He's definitely no hero this season.

He's definitely pretty far from a Hero.

far from a hero, but i would also think his "prospect" status would be gone also, seeing its been 5 years. Just seems like they could have maybe left space for another hero instead

I think he's classified under AHL grad. Heroes are typically vintage or HOF players.

oh i know, why this was sort of a joke thread lol, just to spell it out, why bother putting Sergei Kostitsyn in a "prospects" and "heroes" set, i think they should have just put another loved HoF in or something in his place

The joke of Heroes & Prospects is there are almost no heroes in the set!!! For a whole case break the only Hero was a Roy/Price dual game used /10.

Thats is true, it seems the heroes stuff is all very short printed, /9, etc

I have noticed this year, as the hits in the ITG H&P have increased, a lot more of these "AHL Grad" cards (if you want to refer to them in that manner) have been inserted into the GU/Auto sets.
