NFL Predictions Game
:fro: This Contest has been approved by BGray :fro:
Well some of you may remember not so long ago I held a Baseball Predictions Contest. Since it was such a success, I figured why not do it for football too?
Here's how it works: You make predictions on what you think will happen. After the superbowl, points will be awarded based on correct predictions. Whoever has the most points will win a fairly large sum of CC. :)
The entry fee for this contest is 30cc. The winner will recieve 70% of all the entered cc. Second place will recieve 20%, and third place will recieve 10%.
Please have all of your picks made before 12:00 Noon CST on December 19th. No new entries will be accepted after then. If you edit your post anytime after December 19th, your entry will be disqualified.
Now, for the predicitions
:
Predict the winners of each AFC and NFC division. (One point per correct prediction.)
Predict the winners of the two wildcard teams in each league. (One point per correct prediction.)
Predict the two teams that will face each other in the NFC and AFC Championship games.
(Two points per correct prediction)
Predict the two teams that will face each other in the SuperBowl.
(Three points per correct prediction)
Predict the team that will win the Superbowl.
(Four points for a correct pick)
Which player will win the season MVP award?
(One Point)
Offensive/Defensive Players of the Year
(Two Points each)
Offensive/Defensive Rookies of the Year
(Two Points each)
Coach of the Year
(Two Points)
SuperBowl MVP
(Three Points)
Bonus Question: How many Touchdown passes will Peyton Manning have at the end of the season?
Numbers may only be guessed once for the bonus question. If someone before you has already guessed a certain number for it, you may not use that number. I'll give an automatic 50cc bonus to whoever gets this question right, regardless of your final standings.
Any questions, feel free to ask. I'll post my predictions soon after this, they can serve as a sort of example if you're feeling a little confused.
