ALL PAST AND PRESENT GTS players -- PLEASE READ

As you may know by now, Greg has been added to our our SCF site, and will be the primary Moderator (aka CEO)


Greg has generously allowed the GTS games to go back to the way they were!!!

So, what does this mean?

Each game will now be worth 100 cc (125 if you guess exact score and winning team).

There is NO charge for winning the 100 cc - all you have to do is post an entry by the deadline. No more betting 10 cc to win the 100 cc!!

So, go to the GAMES AND CONTESTS FORUM, and look for our GTS games we are running. Post your score, and the winning team, and I will take it from there to determine the winner.

Just to refresh your memory, here's how I determine the winner of each game, in this exact order:

1. guess the winning team
2. if more than 1 person guesses the winning team, then the person closest to the exact score wins.

Now, for the tiebreakers:

tiebreaker #1: winner is person who guesses exact score of winning team
tiebreaker #2: winner is person who guesses exact score of losing team
tiebreaker #3: winner is person who's guess comes closest to exact score of winning team without going over it
tiebreaker #4: winner is person who's guess comes closest to exact score of losing team without going over it
tiebreaker #5: winner is person who's guess comes closest to exact score of winning team going over
tiebreaker #6: winner is person who's guess comes closest to exact score of losing team going over


Now, there are many folks here who've been playing GTS for months on end, so they know how it works. For all the brand new folks --- all you need to do is post a score, and the winning team, and I will take it from there.

Once you've played for a few times, you will see how the system works.

Also, you can go to the TRIVIA ARCHIVES FORUM -- and see past GTS games and see how the winner is determined.
