I was just thinking about this and im open to any opinions
How is a auto that is #/d to 1000 any different than an auto that is stamped a 1/1 they are both autos arent they other than a different # how are they different especially if they are sticker cards. Tell me what you guys think about this

Most of the time the 1/1 will differ from the rest of the run in some way.
Different color foiling, different border, gold, platinum, superfractor...some type of noticeable enhancement.
Rarely is the same exact card (base) numbered 1/1 like the rest.

SPX dropped the ball one year on their /25 Spectrum parallel.
Zero difference from base other than the serial numbers being stamped onto the front.
Similar story with Ultimate collection, only this time they used the same foiling on 2 different parallels just numbered them sequentially.

While I generally like parallels they have been grossly overdone by topps, fleer(now owned by UD) and UD. Especially when there is no difference between the cards other than the #ing. UD also used the same base card design for the SP Signature and SP Game Used product this year.

Does someone have a card and want a lot for it due to low numbering and you want it? A 1/1 card is just what it says no matter if their is 1,000,000 versions of that card so that means their is a big difference in value for the card.

Yeah that's crap, and they used the same photos for multiple sets.
