The Tebow ad wasn't very anti-abortion - bash it for advocating domestic violence
The Tebow ad wasn't the Bible-thumping, sinner-condemning piece the pro-life activists thought it was going to be, so they had to find something else to complain about. The Women's Media Center said "the tackle showed an undercurrent of violence against women" and feminist/political blogger Amanda Marcotte tweeted "Hey Mom! Tried to kill you from the womb and failed. How about a blind side tackle? Violence against Moms FTW!" Oh if being offended by trivial nonsense and "uncovering" non-existent insults were all I had to worry about in life...

Some people just have no real job or purpose and need something to complain about!

NOW president Terry O'Neill said that bit of the ad glorified violence against women.
"I am blown away at the celebration of the violence against women in it," she told the Los Angeles Times. "That's what comes across to me even more strongly than the anti-abortion message. I myself am a survivor of domestic violence, and I don't find it charming. I think CBS should be ashamed of itself."
O'Neill's reaction drew guffaws even from hardcore abortion advocates.
