    Thoughts On A Card

A Buddy Of Mine (whom i know in person) is offering me a 2003-2004 Dwyane Wade SP Authentic Signatures BGS 9.

Im more of a Football Collector, But I love D-Wade as a player.

I was wondering about your thoughts on the card.

He is offering it to me for $100

is that a good deal in your opinion?

Ungraded is booking at $80, I guess it just depends on how much you like the card and if you really want it.

Do you want a graded auto or ungraded? I like Wade too but it seems a little high to me, especially if he is your 'buddy'. He may be just trying to get back what he paid for it. You can check completed auctions on the bay for prices. I have an 03-04 SP Authentic dual auto of Wade/Odom and though I paid that much for it at an LCS several years ago. I would not ask quite that much for it because they do not go for quite that much now.

If an ungraded auto is OK with you (I am guessing that it is) you should be able to get a similar auto from his rookie year for about half the price. His auto's have come down a little in BV (not as much in SV) since his rookie year. He was injured a few years ago and missed some time but since then has been playing very well (MVP-caliber last year and this year).

Thanks For Your Help Guys... He lowered His asking Price to $90 and i said sure. His not like my best friend, but he is a cool guy. I knew he was offering a "steal" but i love wade, and from what i saw on the bay it was all pretty much the same.

Beckett's listings are for ungraded cards in mint condition. A BGS 9 is considered mint, a 9.5 Gem Mint.

$90 sounds much more reasonable (fair). You can get one for a little cheaper ungraded but the good grade gives it a little more value and will help to maintain the card's value. If you are happy with the card and the price is fair and acceptable to you then that is all that really matters.

    Glad we could help.

$90 is a little on the high side, but not horrible. If you're interested in trading it let me know, I don't collect much football but have quite a bit I'm trying to trade for basketball. Especially Wade since I collect him

You need to check the graded value as it will be higher than raw book. But $75 would be a good deal.

Just so you know also, it is not his RC card. You can properly get a raw one with $60.
