Capt. Phil Harris has tragically died. He suffered a massive stroke in late Jan while in port during the Opillio crab season, he was flown to Anchorage for surgery and was seemingly getting better recently, but he died at the age of 53. It's a sad day. My girlfriend and I met him this past summer in Las Vegas where he and his sons were doing an appearance.
