30 returns so far and all of them from my first 2 mailings. Today I did just get two of my longshots in as Matt LaPorta and David Price were part of todays successes! I will need alot more to hit 50% this year. Best of wishes on you all on your returns!

Do you write letters to each person individually? I would not have the time to send to all those people!

We have very other than I sent to more longshots, and a bunch of Allen & Ginter cards I need from 06, 07, 08. You got back a bunch I didn't like LaPorta, Ausmus, Baylor, Crowe... so it gives me hope i will get them.
I sent 300 letters and so far got back 27; very dissapointing so far.
Even worse I sent 2 dozen balls and got back Buehrle on a side panel and Neftali Feliz. I've got my fingers crossed that this week and next turn everything around!

You know that this is not a instant gratification hobby. Just give it some time and best of luck on those returns coming soom. I love the sets that you had picked. They are awesome looking autographed.

I do personalize my opening paragraph to each player, but type and print off a computer. It allows me to have the actual asking for the autograph and thanking for the autograph already typed in from previous letter. I can personalize alot more players quicker that way. I hand write the envelopes and hand sign each letter. It goes quickly as long as you know something about the person you are writting to. I never takes long to drop 5-6 sentences to open a letter and print it off. I do take the time to handwrite to a few guys like Tony Perez and others who do not sign much as I would hate to finally have them open my envelope and say NO as they felt it was too much of a form letter. To answer your question yes I do write to each player, but usually not handwritten anymore. I hope that helps.

3-11 -> 3-13-10 returns I listed as all 3-13-10 returns as I had mixed my mail and had not updated sorry! I believe I have 44 ST successes so far!
