Today brought the biggest and best Spring Training success. I thought these were failures, but today I recieved Jason Heyward and Stephen Strasburg ROMLBs signed in blue on the sweet spot. I wish I had my camera to post photos but I loaned it to my parents for their vacation.
As you can probably tell, I'm thrilled with this. I've been pretty dissapointed w/ my ST results but these make everything soooo much better. I hope whoever else sent to them has the same good fortune too!

Congrats...I think the key for both of them is to send balls. I tried both Strasburg and Heyward 3 times each, but sent photos and got nothing. I sent a ball to Strasburg this ST and got it back. I've heard that he won't sign unliscensed photos. Maybe Heyward is the same...I now wish I would have sent a ball to Heyward.

I actually sent Strasburg 2 balls during Arizona, then 2 during ST, and 1 at Harrisburg. So I can't say sending a ball is better odds, I think it's just the luck of the draw with him. I'd imagine he has a huge box of stuff and occasionally grabs something to sign.
