    WHAT IS : Adobe Acrobat 9 ???

    someone PLEASE help me..

    my brother just now spent 380$ on this software because he was told it's VIDEO Editing Software. he rides BMX and wants to make high quality videos.

    can anyone tell me if this even is video editing software??

    i have a Sony Camcorder and could use it too if it actually is for that..

    Acrobat is mainly a program for creating and managing documents in .pdf format. Apparently 9 has some video manipulation capabilities (inserting videos into .pdf docs), but I'm pretty sure it's not a "film editor" as in splicing, cutting, etc. I haven't worked with it myself, so maybe someone else knows more.

    OPT is correct. I haven't done any video work with acrobat but I think it's just for adding video to a PDF document. I don't think he's going to be able to edit any video in acrobat.

    Yeah, who told him that anyway? There are lots of programs specifically for video editing, I have no clue how you would confuse Acrobat for one of those.

    yea man i guess he rushed into ordering it online. he got a new camcorder and i guess didnt take time to find the RIGHT thing.

    he's very impatient.

    just stinks that he wasted THAT much money on something that isnt even almost what he needs
    lol


    can you give Me a list of GOOD editing softwares you know of?
    id like to start using my camcorder more

    I haven't used any editing software...I've just used Adobe programs a lot, mainly Acrobat, Photoshop, and Reader, so I know what they are (and aren't). Sorry!
