    Preferred sending method for cards

When sending cards how do you package them?

In those top loaders or the soft sleeves or the 180 pt card holder

for base, inserts, cheap Gus and autos ($10 and under), and semi expensive Gus and autos? ($10-50)

i do the same thing for all my trades or sales....

penny sleeve/toploader/piece of tape over toploader/sealed in a team baggy/bubble envelope

it's like standard procedure for me and it works every time.....no negative feedback for me (knock on wood)

penny sleeve, top loader, and bubble mail. The only reason I won't do a bubble mail is if it's a trade for one or two base or low end insert. But I will let you know if I am doing a pwe trade, just so you're ok with it.

X4 - the only problem was once a card nearly slid out of the top-loader apparently so now I put tape over the top of the top-loader or put it in a team bag and then tape it so there is not tape on the top-loader(can be hard to get off).

I know what you mean. When I receive cards that have tape over the top I used to try to get the tape all off(nearly impossible or a major hassle) but now I just throw out that toploader and replace it. You have to be careful though or you could risk damaging the card a little (bottom corners mainly) by handling it.

If it is a high-end card (say over $80 BV - not high-end to some but to me it is a little) I will put it in a team bag for storage and for trades. That also protects the surface of the card holder. The screw-down or magnetic case holders scratch easily.

If I have a lot of cards that I'm sending, I'll stick them in penny sleeves or team bags, and tape top loaders to the outside of the team bag/penny sleeves, so there is protection, but the weight of the envelope is lessened.

I guess im the odd man out. Usually I have on card autos going out, or inserts. I use a top loader, tape the top shut, then use the hard decoy cards that come in packs, and tape one on each side, then put into a bubble mailer. I haven't had any complaints yet. I really like the rigidity that the hard decoy cards offer. If it's a thick card or a patch, I usually just send it in a magnetic case that I have it in. But again, secure it with a piece of tape, then put the decoy cards around it. Do the thick cases need it? No, probably not, but why chance it?
