Cheechoo Placed On Waivers
Jonathan Cheechoo has been placed on waivers by the Ottawa Senators.
Not a surprising move, seeing as he wasn't producing. Gotta feel for the guy though, gave it his all every game, hopefully some team picks him up.

I hoped he could find his place here but he seems to have just lost it. (or never really had it. Just the fluke year I guess)

Well the roster freeze just went into effect 3 minutes ago, so we'll see what happens there.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I always liked Chhechoo and I would not write him off yet. All he needs is someone like Joe to have another great year. Of course finding a player like trhat is hard to do. We shall see and he always been a class act when I met him. So the best of luck to a ex Kentucky hockey player.

Pittsburgh could use a new winger for either Crosby or Malkin.
Don't be surprised to see him there.

If he is put on re-entry waivers I'd expect a lot of teams to try to pick him up. No way he lasts until Pittsburghs claim
