Olympics
With the Winter Olympics opening ceremonies happening I was just a little curious as to how many of you watched the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing or are going to watch the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. I just read a sad news story about how one of the lugers died in an accident the day before the start of the Olympics.
I know there are a couple people here who collect Olympic basketball cards (Ryu,..?) I have the Topps Team USA set from 2000.
I watched parts of some of the basketball games, including the Final. Very good game. Someone else made a good point about how there were no Olympics cards last year in basketball(except a couple UD Black inscriptions maybe). I am surprised card companies did not capitalize on that.

I watch every Olympic games...they are so fun and entertaining! There's an official 2010 games thread in the Chit Chat forum that I created last night...figured there should be a place that we can all talk about the games!
About the luger - that is just horrific! So sad!

OK. Don't really go there (general chit chat) so I did not notice it. I sort of combined the Redeem Team and last year's Summer Olympics with the wint er Olympics so it was not striclty basketball related. I'll check it out. Thanks.
Anyone here care to comment about the Redeem Team?
