Bipartisan? I Don't Think So
Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced yesterday that she is ... pleased to be a part of this bipartisan, bicameral delegation to Haiti..."
I am not sure what everyone else's version of bipartisnship is but this doesn't strike me as being it...
A list of the "bipartisan" delegation members.
Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi
Democrat Senator Tom Harkin
Democrat Senator Bill Nelson
Democrat Senator Frank Lautenberg
Democrat Senator Amy Klobuchar
Democrat Congressman John Conyers
Democrat Congressman Charles Rangel
Democrat Congressman James Oberstar
Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee
Democrat Congressman Earl Blumenauer
Democrat Congresswoman Donna Christensen
Republican Senator George LeMieux
So they include one Republican who was just appointed 6 months ago and then want to pat themselves on the back for being bipartisan???....
I don't know who is more stupid, the press for reporting on this or the Dems for thinking this actually passes as bipartisanship.

That's the way it always is. They made such a big deal about Obama's "bipartisan" Super Bowl party, but if I'm not mistaken, there was only one Republican at that as well. That's like when the old country clubs would get one token black member and say they were "integrated."

I guess the bigger question is, what are these idiots going to do when they get to Haiti?
