    Getting back into it...

I am getting back into collecting after being not really involved for about 8 years.

One question I do have is about grading cards. For instance I purchased a Barry Bonds 1987 Fleer RC about 3 years ago for about $40 or so. The BV now looks to be about $60 in mint condition, which I must say the card is in great shape.

Anyway the graded price of the card in perfect condition is $1000 :new_shock, am I reading this right? How can the price be so much higher just because it is graded? Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I just dont understand it. Thanks - A

    See mitcwolf's Items on eBay

if it is graded it is proven to be in mint condition and, for vintage, it is not a reprint.. it is just confidence knowing that it is mint.. btw - if you decided to grade it, send it to PSA... the others hold no real value as only psa is respected... bgs was but they let a lot of trimmed cards through
