A guy that shouldn't be in the Cup series sends ones that should to backups...

Mike Bliss triggered an accident in the 2nd practice that puts Joey Logano and Jimmie Johnson into backups for the Duels/500.

Also, Clint Bowyer and David Reutimann will be in backups after Bowyer cut down a tire in the 1st practice and collected Reutimann.

But Bliss was third quick in the NNS practice? I didn't get to watch either session, but why was he so far of the pace in the Cup practice?

I saw Danica was 26th quick in practice...did anyone watch it? She do okay?

Nationwide and Cup are completely different....and he's in a car that if he DOES make the 500, he'll run four laps and park it for the check.

Which makes me question why he's even running with big packs in practice?

Yea but quickest stat doesn't really mean anything at Daytona. Anyone can be up there. Logano was up there Bliss was up there Stewart was up there. They were saying how the quickest/best lap doesn't really mean anything at the super speedways

I watched. She looked pretty good. Still not completely comfortable. She checked up behind someone (nemachek sp?) I believe who was on the inside out of the way. She didn't want to move into the middle and pass so she checked up, Kyle Busch gave her a nice little tap as he was running behind her but overall she didn't look to bad.

And 3rd in Nationwide practice at Daytona doesn't mean he's not a complete and worthless Cup driver...
