2010 Daytona 500
Well, today is the Daytona 500; the reason we wait out the cold and freezing temps in the off season winter, just to watch this 1 race.'
This is what this sport stands for, this is what makes racing great.
We've heard names like Petty, Yarborough, Pearson, and of coarse, Earnhardt.
We watch for our favorite drivers to take the checkered flag. We watch for the Big One to happen and pray for your guy to have made it through it safe. We watch for that possible AMAZING finish.
We watch the drivers hold on at the edge of our seats for 200 laps, 500 miles.
And then finally, 1 driver at the end will be crowned "2010 Daytona 500 Champion."
Some people, including me, feel that the Daytona 500 is not as thrilling as it used to be, since the tragic death of NASCARs greatest driver, Dale Earnhardt, who tried for 20 years to win, and finally in 1998, he won, but tragically, in 2001, he was killed in a last lap last turn crash.
Hopefully today will be as some expect it to be the Greatest Daytona 500 EVER!
Hopefully my guys have better luck then they did yesterday; Dale Jr. flipping, Brad Keselowsi and Kyle Busch tangling coming to the checkered.
Now, lets get this Daytona 500 started (Well, at 3:30 anyway lol)
BOOGITY BOOGITY BOOGITY!
LET'S GO RACING BOYS!!

i think i'll be clinically insane by the end of this race, Kyle always dominates and something ALWAYS happens to him at daytona. hopefully he can pull it off this year, i'm really starting to dislike these plate tracks lol.

zzzzzzzzzzzzz boring. we can put a man on the moon but we can't come up with some track epoxy that sets in 5 minutes? the announcers just go nascar said we'll be fixed in 10 minutes or less. hmm is that like the 10-12 minutes is all it takes that you said 15 minutes ago?

this is ridiculous. what a way to turn off new fans that might be turning in. seriously it takes this long to fix a pothole? IDOT guys drinking coffee standing around in chicago could have done it faster.
