    Yes, almost all players will not even worry about your ball, cards or whatever if they dont have a way of sending them back. They dont have the time to package up something for you yet alone mail it .

    I send every thing w/ some kind of postage or sase for them to send it back. I even sent Bob Uecker 1.00 to mail it back to me once, and he signed my card,a 5x7 card of his, and wrote me a short note saying "no need for the buck!" and used his own letterhead and stamp. But always send something for them to send back
