Another UD rant

Upper Deck, how do I hate thee? Let me count the ways....

So I went out and bought some UD2 today. All it did was remind me why I was going to swear off UD products this year, had it not been for Tyler Myers deciding to be the Sabres' best bloody defenseman.

THE COALITION IS ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!

I couldn't believe it!
Out of 200 base cards, I'm missing 48, meanwhile I've got 2 and 3 of others!
12 Young Guns, 3 of them duplicates!
6 Playoff Performers, 2 duplicates!
4 Draft Day Gems, 1 Duplicate
4 Hockey Heroes, 1 Duplicate
I even managed to duplicate a victory rookie!

Only ONE of Rookie Debut and Captian's Calling.

It just drives me nuts. I bought four boxes of H&P without doubling anything except base, and even then the base was assorted well enough to be almost 3.5 complete sets, not 10 of one guy and 1 or 2 of another.

I expect bad from Upper Deck, and believe me, I never expect to pull a case hit or anything from a single box or two... but to be pulling that much duplication from two boxes out of the same case?? I just can't wrap my brain around that.

What's funny is that I just started collecting this year after my friend got me into it, and I'm already sick of UD haha.One box of Heroes and Prospects from this year just showed me even more why I should stick with other products.

yeah i know what ya mean but if you think thats bad how about pulling 2 Nicklas Backstroms (MIN) out of the same pack. neiter of which were #'d
