Brian Grant
I don't know how many of you remember him. I used to like to watch him play. He was a solid player with the Kings, who really battled on the court, often against bigger opponents.
Now he is struggling with another battle:

I totally remember him. In fact, I've been trying to get a particular card of his for 15 years and am still looking for it.

That's right. It's really not a new story but an interesting one. I guess the link is not working(was in kind of a hurry when I posted it). If you go to NBA.com's website and do a search, you can find it.

I forgot he has parkinson's. There's a heckuva list of famous people to have been diagnosed with the disease. Hope he can live a long life with it.

That's right -the video link is/was (checked yesterday) on their homepage. The story is about him and Michael Fox and their efforts to raise money for Parkinson's research.
The list is quite long as you say - Briant Grant, Michael J. Fox, Muhammad Ali (boxing-induced), Freddie Roach (Pacquiao's trainer - also boxing related), etc..
