Man crashes into IRS building on purpose

Interesting to say the least. He also wrote a suicide/manifesto! I read through his comments quickly and the guy was far from crazy. Seems that the IRS has been working him over for years!

this has been the only thing on tv here in austin all day. now I don't know the whole story but one of the issues is large amounts of undocumented income. Yeah, if you are bringing in over 10 grand and aren't claiming it, it will be a problem. I also have issue with someone who owns their own plane complaining about not having money. that's just me.

Yeah, and he blamed that on his accountant. $12,000+ of income and you have to rely on your accountant to tell you that needs to be claimed?

You're right. The guy who decided to commit suicide and tried to do harm/kill others isn't crazy. His actions scream "sane man".

I posted on Facebook that I wanted to see how lone before the MSNBC morons blamed this on, among other things, Fox News, Tea Party members, Geroge Bush, Scott Brown and the Halliburton Hurricane Machine.

About 3 minutes into Chris "Presidential Bum Kisser" Matthews show hw said the "we" need to see the pilotical motives behind the plane crash.

This guy was nothing more that a common terrorist, no different that some jihadist (sp).

Well he posted a communist mantra at the bottom of his suicide letter and blasted corporations and capitalism throughout...if any blame can be placed on Fox News and the like, it's only because he hated them as much as Olbermann and Matthews themselves.

So, anyone who commits a crime is crazy? That is generally why crime is so high in America. We just blame a person's crime on his surroundings, parenting and everything else. Then they get little time for their crime, get out of jail and commit crimes again. This is why 20% of the citizens commit 80% of the crime.

This man was very angry, but far from crazy.

I just read through it and it sounded more like he was blaming corruption than capitalism. It sounded like he liked capitalism (he seemed to be pretty ambitious) but didn't like the government control/taxation. Hard to tell though, his rants and stories seemed pretty crazy and hard to follow to me.

I think he considers them one and the same. Most of his problems seem to be with the government, but at the end:

"The Communist Creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

The Capitalist Creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed."

It's possible he was just so fed up with the current state of what America calls capitalism that, even though he supported the concept, he turned against the practice. What I took from it was that he considers corruption to be a part of capitalism that can't be separated out. I can't see him posting the communist creed if he truly believed in the capitalist concept, as it's exactly the opposite and most capitalists despise the idea of communism. It would be going against his beliefs and giving support to something he would have vehemently hated.

Well, it's hard for me to tell what he believes in other than his opinion on taxes. He was very clear that he hated taxes and didn't think he should be paying them
