NBC Short-Changing Hockey Fans
By Bruce Ciskie
Before the Olympics got started in Vancouver, NBC Universal announced an ambitious plan to cover the Games like they had never been covered before.
Shooting all the action in high definition for the first time, NBC plans to nearly double the 417 hours they aired from the Torino Games in 2006. Much of this coverage will air on cable outlets CNBC, USA, and MSNBC, which are devoting a lot of time to live curling and hockey coverage.
Unfortunately, the first few days of the Games have made clear that hockey fans are getting the short end of this stick.

I've been noticing this.
I've been tracking through all the channels that cover the Olympics, including NBC. All I can say is thank god for CTV, TSN, & even Sports Net. I'm at least getting my fill of Hockey, and Yes Curling. Of course however, I am quite impressed with NBC on the features of Canadian Culture, and history they have been putting up. Although I hate Bob Costas. He's annoying.Searching for: Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, and Boyd
