Panini Adrenylin Review
I just tried out that new interactive game Panini came out with.
First thing I am going to say is that I know this is for kids, but that doesn't change my view of it. That being said, here is what I thought.
It is not well made. Looks like the threw it together very quickly. I am going to link you a screen shot. Look closely at Omri Casspi, mostly at the team he plays for. Here is the screen shot.
In other spots, there were no spaces where there should have been. Here is one example. It does this on just about every "play."
It also doesn't measure what could happen. You are in no control. It goes by whoever they choose is better. If an offensive player has 90 and a defensive player has 89, the offensive player wins every time. Same when a defensive player is higher. For this reason, I was consistently being blocked by Allen Iverson while shooting with Travis Outlaw.
Sorry guys, would get more screenshots but now I can't even get into a game. That concludes it right there.
In the end, this was a good idea and nothing more. They really need to fix a lot of things. It looks like they put this together in an hour and didn't bother to look it over again. I know that nobody I know is going to get any packs of these from me.

I saw this for the first time when I was at Walmart yesterday...had no idea what it was...now I know. Sounds like the MLB Showdown game that was out early last decade.

Yeah, I saw a preview for it in the last Beckett. Like you said it's for kids and just looks like another marketing scheme.

Some of the inserts in these look cool. Remind me of fleer metal a little. If they could bring a foil card set along, that would be awesome. The game side of it, I'm not surprised being that it's the first run at it, they probably have some bugs to work out yet. You should send them this feedback, that's probably the only way they would know.

The cards themselves are pretty impressive. The game, not so much. I wouldn't expect it to be perfect, seeing how it's a beta (not finished) version. Sending that feedback would better help them.

I think it goes to the notion of how Panini treats their customers with the same product being released over and over in a different name: that we are all idiots.

It's for kids, it's supposed to be kool.

This isn't the same as all other products released, lol.

I believe this is actually the fourth card set they've produced with the exact same 'Adrenalyn' TCG format, first time it's used in the States though.
Basically this card set is Panini's attempt at ripping off Topp's 'Match Attax' (very popular kids' football TCG from England).
