In my opinion it's great. It's fantastic protection and it usually raises the card value.

I'd say it's definitely worth it. Look at vintage cards of great players, even being graded as low as a BGS or PSA 1 most of them sell quite well holding a good value. In the long run I believe it's a smart investment.

Could use a little more info. What kind of cards - RCs, jersey cards, auto's? What brand - Topps?, UD? What grading service - Beckett? For key RCs I think it is a good idea.

However if the grading costs more than the value of the card or you get anything less than a 8.5 or 9 it might not be. If you notice any flaws on a card (centering, soft corner, etc.) I would probably not send it in. I have not sent in any cards myself but I know that generally the more cards you send in the cheaper the price per card.

Really it depends on you. Some people don't care about grading while others only want to buy graded cards. If you really like graded cards and are confident in the cards condition (grades usually come back a little lower than expected) then it is probably worth it.

Grade the card when you plan to sell in the future. Otherwise, buy a $1 beautiful case and keep your favourite card. Unless you are BGS 9.5 collector, then it is different story.

I know some people do this to 90's insert. Buy from ebay, sent to grade. If less than 9.5, they break the case, and resell the card back in ebay. And only keep the 9.5 for the collection. But then, you are talking time and money here :D

ive thought about getting my entire CP3 collection graded (100+ cards) mainly just cuz i want them protected & i love the look of the bgs case. i dont really care if they grade high or not, i think as long as they're at least a 7 id be happy (a few of my rarer cards have some small damage to them)

i looked into it a little & i would have to do it when they have a sale
i know they offer free return shipping if u send in 100+ cards but i have to find out if they'll give u free shipping along with the sale
if so i can get em all done for around $5 a card, if not then i probably wont do it

its just hard to pull the trigger on $500+ to get em done, plus im leary about having my entire collection in the hands of the USPS

*my advice would be to keep an eye out for them to have a "sale" & get em graded*

I somewhat agree. Maybe its just me but I hate the fact that a graded card should increase the value of the card itself. I don't buy graded cards on eBay.

It is a matter of opinion, some hate them and some love them. I say yes if they are that good then have them graded.
