    Lightbulb Chicago Bulls Thread

    Didn't see any Bulls thread line so I thought I'd start one. Yeah I know we suck but who knows what the future may hold. Give me your thoughts about the team for this season.

    Wow, your a Bulls fan too? Thats even better to hear!

    I think they will fare pretty well this year. Tyson and Eddy are 1 year older, and hopefully one year wiser and better. Jamal Crawford will be taking over the PG role full-time, and i think he will thrive and have a good season.
    Hopefully bringing back Pippen will help as well, so Jalen doesnt have fulll responsibility of the leadership role.

    I at least expect from them a better season than last year(much better)lol.

    The one asset that happened is Krause is now out.

    He was a great, hard worker. He could recognize talent.

    But his ego was bigger than his physical body (and if you've seen him, you'd know what I am talking about).

    By driving Jordan, Phil Jackson and the Bulls away, he basically left an unpleasant legacy

    And everything that Krause did that was good no longer counts, b/c organizations do NOT win titles; PLAYERS win titles.

    Take Shaq and Kobe, put them in the Clippers uniform, and the Clippers make the playoffs and go deep

    Bulls have not officially signed Pippen, but are on the verge too.

    Podstock-
    I agree with you almost completely on everything you said.
    Krause did a terrible job with free agency once MJ and the gang left, i mean the best player he ever picked up after MJ era was probably Brad Miller or Brent Barry(played one season in 98/99 with the Bulls). Some players' he thought would be nice pickups werent at all- Eddie Robinson, Charles Oakley, just to name a few.

    His draft picks also have been a little questionable, i mean you had a great player in Elton Brand, why trade him away after he's 2 years into the league???
    Drafting Marcus Fizer was questionable because we dont know if he will ever be able to recover from injury, just like the Jay Williams situation.
