    Kings will NOT trade for whitney unless:

    1. Carolina lowers their asking price to a decent prospect and a 2nd. Purcell/Lewis/Martinez + 2nd and it works
    2. Whitney agrees to an extension that isn't 3 years.
    3. They feel he is the only rental player they can get at a fair price

    Before the break, the Flyers were supposed to be int eh lead for him after they couldn't get Kovy. Maybe they've dropped out by now though.
