Olympic jersey's ?
Hey guys. Im a football collector so this is my first time venturing over this way lol. I was wondering if anyone knew if any card company intends on making GU jersey cards from the USA Olympic jerseys (mens) from 2010? Has this been done before? Maybe somone has some inside info?
This was just a thought but I think it would be cool and make for some nice patches. It would be a set or collection I would seriously consider collecting.

It would certainly be nice to see - unfortunately UD doesn't have license to use the Olympic images so it'll up to Dr. Price and In The Game to be able to produce anything. They did do a Vancouver 2010 set but it features memorabilia from previous tournaments. All cards were numbered to 10 copies and I'm not sure how much is left.

Thanks for the info. It would make sense about the UD license because from what I understand the "Olympics" has buttoned down on using that name and the rings. Did that set have nice patches?

At this point none of the orders have been sent out to people, but the preview pics at the ITG website looked pretty nice. About the closest you'd come to existing Olympics memorabilia would be the O Canada set, though I'm not sure any of the jerseys in that set were from the Olympics or if they were just from other international events.
