Something I have never understood.....
Just pulled this off an eBay auction:
$2.50 FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING. PAY PAL ONLY WE WILL SHIP THE ITEM 24 HOURS AFTER IT IS PAYED FOR . SHIPS TO THE MAIN 48 STATES AT REGULAR SHIPPING COST. IF SHIPPED TO HAWAII,ALASKA OR CANADA PLEASE ADD $5.00 SHIPPING
It as copy and pasted, I did not edit anything.
Why is it $5 to Alaska & Hawaii? Shipping to Canada for (auction was 1 card) a bubble mailer is no more than $3. It usually costs me $1.22 to mail to the US, and it was $1.23 for Canada. 1 whole penny. WHOO!
I have receieved bubble mailers from Stephen in Alaska many times, at $1.22.
It probably isnt a big deal, just always intriqued me.

Well, depending on where you are in the country, certain areas can cost more to ship to. Although I've sent to Stephen in Alaska numerous times without a price difference.

I agree with the price differences, but it was not anywhere near $2.50 was it?
And about the Canada (and Worldwide) I would charge $1 more for my time to fill out the Customs flyer.
I bought a card from a guy in Canada, and he only charged my $1.50 shipping, so I have no idea!
