    Ilgauskas will return to Cavs

    A Mavericks representative told ESPN.com on Sunday that agent Herb Rudoy informed the team that Zydrunas Ilgauskas intends to re-sign with the Cavaliers.

    Rudoy has repeatedly insisted that Ilgauskas won't make a firm decision until next week.

    Good for the Cavs, bad for the NBA. They need to change the rule so that teams can't improve without giving anything up, as this is completely unfair to other teams in the league - as it was with Gary Payton several years ago, and as it is when any semistar/star player is traded, then ends up back on the same team they had been on a month later.
