    10 Topps Heritage, auto?

Busted some Heritiage over the weekend. Pulled a couple of nothing jersey and bat cards.

Hit an auto and if I remember right the odds were like 1:357 or something like that:

    Played 1957-59

Pitcher lifetime record Won 1 Lost 3 ERA 7.29

    Great auto TOPPS,

    Ron

Yes, and it is even on ON CARD auto.

Guy wasn't in the league in 61 which is the style of this years Heritage.

The auto goes really well with my "Bench" bat cards I pulled from Tribute.

AND to make it even better that's a red ink auto! Those are even rarer and you'll notice, hand-numbered :)

I only got a Walt Dropo blue ink so far - 3 boxes into my case :)

    Congrats!

Decent hit but man, the groundskeeper back then saw more playing time than that guy.

I agree, it is an auto but man the guy didn't have much of a career in the big leagues, but he was a big leaguer.

The guy appeared in 3 games in 1957, 8 games in 1958 and to finish out his career 2 games in 1959.

What was Topps thinking in adding this guy to the set. Well I guess you can say it is truly a rare auto of a big league player.

Makes you wonder if he was the grandfather of someone who works at Topps?

An auto is an auto and on card.

    Case hit!!!! Wow,

    Ron

was nice to pull a old timer auto...but hell, a no name, thats not right. Especially for what they charge for the boxes. If thats what you can expect as beating the odds, count me out on ever buying a box lol Good luck in the future man, maybe this will act as good karma in a future pull! Only positive way to look at it haha
