need you help with this
I got this Rookie Autograph Jersey from a recent break and was wondering if there's a mistake on the serial #. As you see the Duchene card is # out of /484 but I have another Rookie autograph Jersey ( James Van Riemsdyk) and that one is numbered out of /499. Is this an error on Upper Deck's part? Because even the print run is numbered /499 for the Duchene card.

I'm not sure exactly what the deal is, but there are cards numbered out of both /499 and /484 floating around.

Maybe Upper Deck can shed some light into this

I think I remember this being brought up before. Don't quote me on this..... but I think it was a case of 15 autos for Duchene (and a few others) going missing. The result was they just produced a few less cards.

Straight from UD:
"There was a production error during the numbering process. There are only 499 total cards out there. Unfortunately some are numbered to 499 and some are numbered to 484. They are not two different cards."
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

That's what they pay me the big bucks for.
Fun story: one of the local guys here pulled a Kane and called in asking why it was /484 on the card. The hapless UD rep said it was a parallel. This scared the bejeezus out of a lot of people when it posted as people were wondering if the supposed short-print rookies were in fact /983.
