The Nationals worth it for us?
Is The Nationals an event worth it to go to for an auction site like bidStart?
We're thinking of going but we're not sure if it's a fit. Mainly we'd want to network with other sellers (and buyers) and make a large group aware of what we have to offer.
Is this the right venue for that? We're already going to go to the Industry Summit in Vegas and hope to see some of you there.

Sports cards sellers have been desperately looking for an option outside of ebay for a long time. High fees and weak sellers protection is why many people hate ebay. The problem is there's no other option, no one can bring in the viewers/buyers that ebay has. If you think you can sell people on idea of moving over from ebay to your site, I think you'd have a lot of peps willing to listen to what you have to say. It also could be a way to get buyers to know more about your site so they may come over to shop if they hear about ya.

Yeah, traffic is everyone's concern. We've got it in stamps which is how we started 5 years ago but it's going to take a while to get it in the other categories. Our approach is to list on both (or more) sites as we automate that and it costs next to nothing to do it here since we have no listing fees for sports items.
So is the show a good mix of buyers and sellers then? I've never been there so I'm trying to get in insider's view of it.

It most certainly would benefit you. If done correctly, the exposure from attending would, or should be your best form of advertising(direct, instant contact on every level).
This is THE hobby buzz thru ~ June, It's where Naxcom(and many other venues) broke through mainstream w/collectors IMO, they had a solid display booth with literature, laptops, etc..in this hobby word of mouth is everything.
Check out the main page http://www.nsccshow.com/ various blogs, and vlogs that give it further coverage.
Good Luck
