A long, long time ago (Part 1)
The history of my Treasury set before I show off today's mail.
July 31, 2009
The start of the set. I was in search of a Logoman from really any set. Rhys (rhysjsolomon) told me about his 08/09 Topps Treasury Carmelo Anthony Mini Logoman 1/1 and I was fairly interested. I decided to buy the card and boy I am glad that I did.

I remembered about a crazy 13 box break where someone pulled the Steve Nash Mini Logoman (grapesodarocks). I was doubtful that he had the card as it had been like 5 months since the break, but I decided to ask anyway. Luckily, he still had the card. Excited to get my second of the set, I bought it.

Thanks to Jordan (upperdeckboxbreaker) I was able to find the owner of this card. Patrick (Copywrite123) had just purchased the Al Horford and luckily was willing to move it for what he paid. I jumped at the opportunity.

I was able to pry the 4th of my set from Greg (gregnice37). After constantly bugging him and offering him for the Rudy Gay he finally let it go.

The 5th of my set came from Eric (peddigree). The Tracy McGrady originally popped up on ebay and Eric bought it because he collects the raptors. We worked out a deal for it and I was very happy with the card.

My 6th of the set was a pretty weird story. I was in contact with the owner of the Vince Carter and then all of a sudden he stopped talking to me. I e-mailed him on another yahoo account and he responded and we were able to work out a deal (???). When I received the card I could hear the card shaking around inside. The card was with a piece of foam in a small box. Although I was disappointed in the service, nonetheless I received the card.

Rhys (rhysjsolomon) was ready to deal me some more of his. This time he was willing to let go of Andre Iguodala and Corey Maggette to me. Thanks Rhys!

Andrew (adhunt99) sold me the Gilbert Arenas, my 9th card for the set. I was super pumped when I got this card as I had been bugging him for a while for it :D.

October 2, 2009
Dylan (chrispaulcollector) was willing to let his Chris Paul go to me after a lot of negotiation. I was super excited when I got this card as it was my most expensive yet!

After months passed while I was pursuing other sets, I resumed my Treasury set. KG9779 was willing to let his Kevin Garnett go after some time, and I jumped on the opportunity. After spending EIGHT days in NY customs, I finally got the card.

January 29, 2010
Wes (Wesleyt) was willing to let his David West go after a couple months of debating whether to sell it or not. I was extremely excited when he was finally ready to sell the card. This makes my 12th in the set.

TO BE CONTINUED AT 10:00 PM EST!
Thanks,
Andrew
