McFarlane Olympic figures Predicted Gold???
I thought this was very wierd. The Mcfarlane company released 3 players from Team Canada in Olympic uniforms. Boy did they nail it on the head with their choices. I thought the figures were all wrong at the beginning of the tournament. Why would they make Luongo and not Brodeur??? Crosby was a given.......Iginla was the third..........I thought these were different choices until the outcome of the Gold medal game....Iginla assists on the winning goal by Crosby and Gold medal game winner Luongo......WOW.....

Funny how that worked out eh? When I first saw them I decided I'd pace it out over a couple weeks depending on the budget....sure enough when I popped into Wal-Mart yesterday AM there wasn't a Crosby to be found.

I hadn't really thought about it, but yeah, that is kind of neat eh?
I really would have liked to have seen McFarlane go all out, and make a massive multi-nation Olympics series.

Those were amazing choices. Wow. I got a sweet set of 3 MacFarlane figures for $7 bucks instead of $30 at London Drugs in Vancouver. Sundin/Domi/Kaberle. Awesome deal for me a Leafs fan and Sundin collector. Also a lot of single figures for $5 instead of $15 at London Drugs.
