Team pick is the best way you can do. At least there is no guarantee of case hit for #1. If it runs way or runs within a group of friends, I'm sure it is more fun since you get to see all the goodies before anyone else.

    Thanks!

Sounds like a cool idea if there are measures in place to ensure random "draft"/choice positions.

All breaks i have done on here have been streamed live on Ustream with the chat room open so people can come watch, hang out, and maybe even get some trades done if they want too... It is a good time and the only problem i have ever had with them is shipping to canada during the olympics. As far as integrity of the break that is why i try not to take a team so there can be no accusations of anything. Everything that is ripped will be in someones box when they open it. Obviously when there is a case hit involved the teams with a chance at the hit have the higher prices and so forth but in all thebreaks i have done everyone is very satisfied. If you have any questions on how they work check out the pack sales forum and there are several listed there

My main problem with group breaks is that everyone seems to prefer to do them as team breaks because it is the easiest way to do it. If you get a box or group of boxes with 10 hits and 15 participants it is a guarantee that some participants will get absolutely nothing. Seems to me that in a lot of cases some would end up essentially paying for nothing.

I think group breaks need to be done like a draft. However, xavieronly1's points are valid. Usually those running the breaks or even just the first to see it posted are those to get the first spot and guarantee themselves the best card. But there is an easy way to counter this.

Spots are broken into tiers. Here's an example:
    Spot #1 is worth $45
    Spots 2 & 3 are worth $30
    Spots 4, 5 & 6 are worth $25
    Spots 7, 8, 9, & 10 are worth $20

Anyone willing to pay for spot one would be put into a random drawing. Whoever won would get Spot #1. Subsequent drawings are done for all of the next spots where anyone willing to pay for spots 2 & 3 would be put into a drawing or randomized order. Whoever lost Spot #1 could also slide down and say they'd be willing to pay $30 for a lesser spot and be put into the drawing for Spot 2 or 3 or so on. That way it isn't so-and-so's friend or the guy running the break that always gets the top spots. Also, note, this is just an example. It can be customized.

After all the comments, I have deiced this is something I am going to do, but it is on the very bottom of my priority queue. It could be months before I get too it. If there is anything special you think I should consider, let me know. Thanks,

    Justin
