Question about grading
I am new at buying graded cards so I need some pointers. I know Beckett is supposed to be the most accurate grading service and they can check for authenticity in the card. Does this apply to KSA as well? Does their rating also confirm is the card is authentic? Thanks!

Great question........KSA is a Canadian grading company. Both Beckett and KSA confirm authenticity, though KSA seems to have less hobby respect (and resale value) than Beckett.
The problem with both, however, is they will grade sheet cut cards. This is where someone will buy a whole sheet of cards years after production and have it cut up into individual cards using a laser or other means to achieve perfect corners, edges, and centering.
For some purists, like myself, this creates authentic fakes as the cards did not come this way from the factory. It is why I only collect PSA graded cards who will not grade sheet cut cards.
They have a free registry (psacard.com) where you can upload your collection and compete with others in a variety of categories.
good luck
