Gold strike hands COC hefty bill

How stunning was Canada's record setting gold medal haul at the 2010 Olympic Games?
Well consider this. Not only did the Own the Podium crowd -- and it was a crowd -- win a Winter Games record 14 gold medals, they also took home more than a third of the total gold medals handed out by the International Olympic Committee.
Canadian athletes collected 68 gold medals. The rest of the world -- combined -- got 108.
