It is because he wont transition well into an NBA player. He isn't a true point guard and he is only 6'2. Just because someone is a good college player doesn't mean they will be a good NBA player. Gerry McNamara on Syracuse was a great college player but never played a minute in the NBA.

Very few players play the same level of game in NBA compare to their best in college. 6'2 is too smal for SG, and even PG position, you get bigger PG nowdays. Unless he was really good PG in college already and develops those skills for PG position, I doubt he can survive in NBA more than 3 years.

I think it'd be a good collection, especially a new guy, he'll have few cards, and you'll always be up-to-date with his brand new cards, ya know?

I think a lot depends on where a prospect ends up. Some players just get drafted into the right situation at the right time and work hard to become productive players in the Association. If you like Reynolds, have fun collecting him. Take a look at Chris Duhon's cards as a point of reference as I think they may have similar careers. Good Luck.
