Bobcats win 7 of last 9 against Lakers

Last night's 98-83 win against the defending champs takes the Bobcats to 7 wins in their last 9 meetings against LA. Not bad for a franchise worth only $175 million.

Hopefully the Lakers won't have to play them in the Finals... assuming the Lakers make it to the finals.

It's pretty hillarious to read how dominant the Bobcats are against the Lakers and Cavs.

    Bobcats>>Lakers/Cavs lol

    I know!!!
Bobcats are the only team in the NBA other than the Celtics who hold better head to head record against the Lakers in Lakers history!!!

I went to Charlotte 3 times past 5 or 6 years to watch the Lakers play and they all lost lol

I still remember a game Lakers lost in 3OT ouch!

The Bobcats are tough as nails and play absolutely stifling defense (only the Celtics are giving up fewer PPG at the moment). Guys like Captain Jack and Gerald Wallace will bow down to no one. The Lakers were held to 83 and just 36.2% shooting.

Don't get me wrong, I know they're a bubble team. I think it's just awesome that the usual suspects have a tough time matching up against my team.

Yeah, it's interesting they can play the top tier teams so well, but still are hovering in mediocrity given their overall record in the weaker conference. Their D is consistently good, but their O needs improvement.

Bobcats have always, even in their days of extreme mediocrity, seemed to get the better of the best teams.
