I'd say rip it, but it's just me. I'm one to take chances like this on cards to see a good or bad side to it.

Don't rip it man, you'll regret it when you pull a Baron Davis mini #ed /999 or whatever.Sell it for a nice profit, or trade it for a nice PC card.

The only time i'd rip a rip card is if it's of a player that's not too good, and the numbering is high.

Yup don't rip it. You might even get worse than a Baron Davis #/999, you might get a Gilbert Arenas #/999 =( Side note I have not seen anything good come out of those rip cards either.

To rip or not to rip.... that is the question..

I personally would be tempted but you are better off not ripping it and keeping it if you like him or trade or sell it. Seeing as there are a bunch of crazy die-hard Lakers fans you could get a lot for it, I would imagine.

    Oh no you did not!

It's better than pulling a mini of Ben gordon or yi jianlian:)

Hahah just messing with you, but you have to agree though that Arena's cards value have plummeted. At least Ben Gordon and Yi Jianlian somewhat sells haha...

dont rip it. The card is worth more with the "potential" of something great inside. Plus the low serial # on the original card. Im sure you can make a nice penny on the bay.

I had a Dirk rip card from Treasury a while back, I sold it on ebay for $80 unripped. Ripped versions of the card were selling about $10. The guy emailed me back and pulled a $20 bill out of it. So if you do the math I made a profit of $50 on potential.

I remember I pulled a Rip card #ed/99 of Chris Paul out of Treasury. Traded it for an Arenas 3 clr patch. The guy ended up ripping it and getting a #ed/278 mini of Paul or Dwight Howard, can't remember which. But it ended up good for me!
