Real Jersey Numbers
With Lebron James changing his jersey number from 23 to 6 next year where do you guys consider the premium be when it comes to his old serial number cards? It wasn't such a big deal when kobe did it due to the fact that there where only a few cards number back when kobe was a RC. Is everyone checking there James RC cards to see if the serial number is 6?

the whole jersey numbered extravaganza never meant much to me, I mean it's just a coincidence. It's been made huge because of eBay sellers wanting to make an extra buck, thats what I think.

I'd say whatever number he's wearing in any particular card.

I understand the premium of it a little, but overall, I'm not about ready to trade twice the value for a card that is matching jersey/serial number...especially if it's a more expensive card...no way am I giving up a $50 card for a $25 insert/GU of KG that's 21/xxx or 5/xxx.
Anyway, to answer the first question, I don't think people will be collecting 6/xxx Lebron cards where he's wearing #23...some ebay sellers may try to do that, but I don't think it'll work too well.
