Monday Night TNA...
My two cents...
An impressive start...the Hogan/Abyss vs Flair/Styles two-fer match made nice bookends to the show. The Sting gimmick worked well. Keep swinging for the fences Stinger!
Yes, Hogan and Flair are getting older and it shows, but still it was great to see some authentic old school stuff.
Great to see RVD and Jeff Hardy. Wish they would have played a bigger role in the show.
The highlight of the show was Angle vs Anderson. The all-out military assault was fantastic.
Overall grade B+/A-.
Whacha think?

They didnt bury him, i assume you heard it on a wrestling forum which is the first problem.
He won in like 20 seconds, Sting gets mad and baseball bats him to death, Hogan tries to make the save and gets hit as well.
TNA was AWFUL, The Hogan/Abyss vs Styles/Flair was terrible, Abyss looked terrible, Flair looked horrible and so did Hogan, there was a chairshot were Flair just sits it on Hogans head and he somehow plays it off bad enough he bladed himself...
all around horrible show, granted RAW was no good either, but TNA had everything to lose while WWE was sitting pretty with there horrendous showHidden Content

I read a review of the show on torch. and I just watched the segment on youtube. its seems like really back way to debut one of the biggest stars in the wrestling. RVD can main event anywhere on the planet. and they killed any momentum a sting/rvd feud could have ever with sting getting pinned so quick. granted he gets his heat back by killing everyone with the bat. but when was the last time you saw someone get pinned in 20 secs.

To be fair Sting got 'blindsided' put the weak part is he got pinned on the Rolling Thunder, which i've never seen RVD pin anyone to win a match that way

I wasn't to high on Impact. Styles looked good in the main event, but no one else really did. And Shannon Moore?! Why's he getting an X Title shot at the PPV?! Also, I'm not high on Sting being a heel, it just never seems to go all that well.
TNA got a 1.0 ratings for last nights show. Which is down from the 1.1 they got last Thursday. Heck NXT got a higher rating than that last week!

Overall, I watched both shows more tna than wwe, but I like that the wrestling companies gave you a chance to decide who to watch. Was a flashback for a little while of the wcw vs wwf days.

It's not a war, per se, largely because TNA is using old, ratty peashooters. As long as Vince Russo remains at TNA, they're going to suck more often than not.
Raw wasn't much better. Vince McMahon had no business beating John Cena, even if he needed 5 guys helping him. He did this because of who was in the TNA main event. If you notice, Flair's now on McSenile's crap list, because he's been replaced by Ultimate Warrior in the ID montage they run before every show.
