Buying single, especiall you are going for players that are cheap to pick up.

I think buying singles is better....Personally I do both, but I buy more singles than boxes by far....Seems like the only reason I buy any packs at all these days is to pick up extra trade bait for this site :D

depends what you want.... you want a kobe or a superstar the chances of pulling it out of a box....is silme, you could take that money and puchase the card you wanted and not have all that extra stuff

Singles all the way. I do break some late 90's product now and then just for fun though.

The cheaper route is singles, but the addictive side of me loves opening packs, something about not knowing what you might get.

Buying singles will save you money but you wont have the pleasure of opening packs, which for me is a very importante part of the hobby.

I like buying singles. You get what you want and are never disappointed. It is fun to bust open boxes and cases, but it takes a pretty good bankroll really bust some nice stuff open. Either way, its all about the fun and whether it's singles or boxes, they're both fun!!!

I go back and fourth with this question. Currently i'm only buying singles. But occasionally i'll get in the pack busting mood and pick up a box.

I guess when i realize i'm spending $70-$100 and usually getting not much to write home about, it makes more sense to use that money and pick up a couple Dwight autos.

I recently spent about $400 going nuts buying boxes. Best card i pulled was a $60 RC autograph. When i realized i could have picked up a couple real nice high ends it kinda made me feel sick that i spent all that for virtually nothing. Therefore i'm buying singles for a while :o)
