If it were me I would do the trade, I think Johnson will have great season while Lincy wont be as good as the past 2 years. Also Tex is a much better hitter than Cruz so I think the trade would work out in your favor. Good luck either way!

I'd say Tex and Cruz will be comparable, number wise. The only problem is Cruz may be a little more injury prone. They both hit in great line-ups/hitters parks. Lincy and Johnson will probably be a push. I guess the question is, do you have someone to replace Tex at 1B? If not, I'd reject it.

Yes I do. Im not saying he's going to be much worse but I just think that with all his success in the past two years he wont work as hard. Also I think this will be the year he injures himself after throwing 200+ innings the last 2 years. Just my opinion

Lots of pitchers throw 200 innings, doesnt mean it injures them.

Why wouldnt he work hard, he wants a big contract and with two more oustanding seasons will most likely get the richest contract for a pitcher ever.

So by that standard why did CC Sabathia get a 7 year deal, he needs to retire soon.

Im not talking about major league success for a long time. He hasnt had a "average" season since his freshman year in college. And with CC I thought it was a stupid deal as are all long-term pitching deals these days. How did Kevin Brown work out?
