GSP vs Dan Hardy
Does hardy stand a chance? He has an nice record (23-6) and has a seven fight win streak. My problem is that his wins against good competition have come by split decision (Marcus Davis and Akihiro Gono).
Thoughts on the fight? I think GSP wins by TKO in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I definately think Dan has a chance. He is confident going in, which a lot of guys are already psyched out just fighting Georges, or for a title.
Other then Alves, Dan is probably the biggest/strongest guy Georges has faced.
He has excellent and accurate counters, and is always attacking. He also has good knees which Georges will have to watch for when he shoots in. (Alves did too, but was too worried about being taken down to use them)
I still think Georges wins probably, but I would love to see Dan get the win...and think its possible.

i think he only has a chance as far as everyone has a chance in a fight. Everyone talks about his striking but he hasn't knocked out his recent competition, he has only won via decision. There is no way he is going to decision GSP.

Hardy has a puncher's chance, because he's not going to beat GSP on the ground and he's not going to decision him either. Hardy has to get a TKO a la Serra if he's going to win. Hardy is such a huge underdog, something like +500, that I may place a small bet on him. But honestly, I just don't see anyone at 170 beating GSP, just like I don't see anyone at 155 beating BJ or anyone at 185 beating Silva.

I think that is spot on.
