I was gone for the weekend, so either Friday or Saturday I got Tony Romo back. Definitely an autopen, but whoever was running the AP and sending these back was nice enough to put the signature at the bottom in the autograph window. Hah. Won't even bother posting a picture.
Also got Vince Papale. My little brother is an Eagles fan and the movie "Invincible" helped make him a Philly fan, so I emailed Vince back in March and he finally replied last week saying he'd be glad to send something, that came this weekend as well I didn't open it, I'll let him do it.
As for today though, got one back. Ralph Wilson Jr.
I'm trying to obtain an autograph from every NFL HOF'er possible (on a card) if not TTM, then on a certified card, then have them in a big binder separated by labeled HOF year for each page. It's coming along nicely, plan to send to a lot of these $10 fee guys I haven't gotten to yet. I'll do a count and see where I stand soon.

Yesterday I got an RTS from Aeneas Williams, he must have had his mail being forwarded to his new house and it must have JUST expired before I sent it.. Gonna send to the new addy that was on the envelope.

Got a failure from Harrison Barnes today, after seeing other people get one, I knew it was coming.. Props to the NC staff that opened this, they sent back my SASE unused with the card and a nice letter letting me know that with the new policy they aren't allowed to provide autographs but they'd still give Harrison my letter. Was definitely worth a shot.
If I don't get better results from this next big batch I'm sending out, I'm going to consider pulling out of the TTM game for good.. I've put lots of time and money into this hobby and it seems to be getting worse for me, I know it's all a risk, nothing is guaranteed and you're bound to get screwed once in a while, but this is becoming more than I really want to deal with.

Dang hate seeing RTS. I just got 3 in a ow back after a long drought myself. Hate to see you go i love seeing your returns. Just maybe sent a little less at a time.

Ugh, finally a success!
Despite having plenty out, this has been an all-time low month.. Frustrating!
Anyways, this is my second try to get Largent's autograph, missed the DC address by few days back in August, this SEA address popped up and looked good so I waited for some successes to piggyback, sent this 11/23, took longer than most other peoples it seems, but great success. Was tempted to buy a certified to suffice the void of his in my HOF card collection, glad I held off.
Probably should have redone this one before I tried again, the fade didn't work too well by the waist, it was my first card from his set lol.

Hang in there man, ttm should be fun never work. I feel you though, it can be frustrating at times i have about 200 ttm's and about 8 romlbs currently out some with cash, that i know arent coming back. anyway man i love checking your returns and love that Largent.

Thanks guys.. It's just something I need to think about.. Time will tell what happens.
And buffalobills, that is a scary number! Some people have better luck than others, that's for sure.
