Thanks guys!
Ok.. So I had a pretty good day today. Definitely got the 8x10 bug at full force.
Abe Woodson, 2/2. So glad I found an 8x10.. Abe's one of my favorite old school 9ers. Inscribed as requested.

Jim Fanning, 4/2. Another old Cub, only spent four seasons with the Cubs, but also served in the Expos organization for a long time. This was my first mailing to Canada.. I feel dumb, I only put one stamp on the return, it was plastered with 10 cent (I think?) stamps, so I obviously didn't have enough. He signed the custom, IC, included his own card and wrote me a great letter. Cool success.

Raymond Berry, 5/2. I sent an 8x10 and 97 Legends, both came back signed, plus his testimonial card, his little note on his DVD flyer, and he included another 8x10. I mentioned (and thanked him) for items he's signed for me in the past and that he didn't have to include all of that stuff again, but he did anyway. I have so many sigs from Berry it's crazy. I sent him a donation last time (with a custom, and questionnaire) and said the same thing about the extras and he sent them that time too. Such a great guy. Not crazy about the specific date on the photo.. Too scared to try the dry erase marker trick.

Ed Sprinkle, 1/1. I know I just got him, but I found this photo and couldn't resist.

Big props to my mail lady for not ruining these!

Nothing today, but my Pete Rose photo finally showed up. Sorry for the crappy cell pic.. This thing looks amazing. 30x40! I put a card on there just to put the size into perspective. Gonna look sick on the wall. Signature is the size of my forearm. $40 from InsiderSportsDeals, gotta say it was worth it.

Thanks man. Yeah, I get little notes back all the time, but that's definitely the longest letter I've gotten back. Pretty cool.
Thanks.. Now I just gotta find a frame that isn't expensive, and the room to hang it. Not sure which will be easier!

Ok, so my stupid internet was down for a couple days, and only had mobile access. Here's what rolled in.
Wednesday..
Dermontti Dawson, 2/2. Signed both 8x10s. The one didn't turn out as well as I thought, but it's all good. I can leave him alone now, though the second time I sent to him, I gave all the cards to my two cousins who are Steelers fans, so I don't feel as guilty.

BTW, mail lady is on a roll not destroying my photos!
And Thursday was just epic.
Steve Atwater, 1/1. Signed the 8x10 PERFECTLY. Even the personalization was tastefully placed. I love this so much.

Sterling Sharpe, 1/1. Another 97 Legends.

Don Kaiser, 2/2. Played three seasons for the Cubs in the 50's.
Also signed an IC.. Forgot to scan.
Steve Hutchinson, 1/1. Sent nearing a year ago. Dunno if he'll be a HOF'er.. His play declined a lot since the Vikings fluke 2009 season, and playing well into the mid 30's is kind of a requirement it seems for HOF lineman. Either way, he's had some monster seasons and I'm glad to have it.

Toby Gerhart, 1/1. Sent about a year ago, had no idea this would ever come back.

AND FINALLY
Bryant Young, 2/2. I've tried this guy three times, and this was the fourth. I've tried to get him at Notre Dame, SDSU (twice), and finally got him at Florida.. He's a coach now. So glad to have him, one of my favorite 9ers ever. Wasn't even sure this one would come back as I seen quite a few long after I sent.

I still love that design you used for Gerhart.
