I still love that design you used for Gerhart.

Thanks. I kinda liked it too, I did some tweaking with the two different colors a while back on most of them, and they look nicer, but it really only works for current players, and I hate having horizontal cards. Might send a few this year to some current players.

Sure thing. I'll send them now.

Two more in to wrap up the week.

Alex Karras, 2/2. The Topps is such a hideous card.

Jim Bolger, 2/2. Spent three years of his 9 year career with the Cubs in the 50's.

    Un-TTM-related..

HOF pickups. Thanks to HOFCollecting for the Shell.

Picked up a couple young stud/future studs on eBay.. figured I'd share.

And finally got a cert of one of my favorite 9ers.

I love the Gameday set in Topps this year...I've pulled Berry, Hunter, and Colt McCoy. You think Kendall Hunter is going to be a solid player?

Yeah me too. They can be had pretty cheap too. And yeah I do.. He's quick, and powerful, especially for his size. I think he'll replace Gore nicely in a couple seasons. LOL @ Gore and stupid Rosenhaus thinking any team is willing to give a RB pushing 30 (keep in mind all the miles and injury miles) a huge extension. I love Gore more than anything, but I'd feel fine letting him walk if he really won't budge on this contract deal. Hunter is gonna be good if he gets the opportunity. I think this contract squabble is more vintage Rosenhaus saying "Hey, you're in line for a new deal, lets get all that we can" than Gore actually caring as much as it's being made out to be.

Ha, thanks. That's weird, I've always wondered what possesses guys to write on the back when the front is just fine, and the back is obviously the back.

Mark Stepnoski, 1/1. Second mailing to Canada. Put two Canadian stamps on the SASE, he added one, so it must take three. Now I know lol. Nice success from a 5x Pro Bowler and a member of the 90's All-Decade team.

    Gil Brandt, 3/2.

Nice note.. Though I'm not a Cowboys fan, and I didn't say I was.. I talked about how I admired his role and what he contributed to the Cowboys franchise. Cool success from a dark horse future HOF candidate (as a contributor).

Bob Anderson, 2/2. Another old Cubbie. Played six seasons for the Cubs in the late 50's - early 60's.

Jim Woods, 3/2. Only spent one year with the Cubs, and three in the majors. Explains my crappy pic on the custom, but he sent a custom of his own with a great pic of him in a Cubs uniform. Too bad the silver wasn't dry and stuck to my card, making a bit of a mess.

Thanks man. Must be. That was the only success on SCN from that addy, but it was the most recent.. Like in May. So I figured I wouldn't risk an RTS and did the Canada addy.
