Happy Gilmore = Greatest Movie Ever
Anytime there's a Bob Barker fight scene, you know it's a legendary movie. Congrats on getting Shooter!

I was speaking generally. Just kinda surprises me some of these guys who played a handful of games in the majors take a month to answer back. Not complaining, just surprising.
Thanks.
Thanks man!

Nothing much around here, and it's starting to get old.
Got this in a couple days ago. Not really a success per say, but I had sent Roger Brown a small donation to his charity after he signed cards for me, and he sent this letter back, signed. I thought that was pretty neat of him.

Fred Lynn, 1/1. Sent IC in hopes he'd just send one of his presigned since he doesn't really sign cards anymore. Super fast too. Nice success from one of those guys who weren't quite Canton material, but great players.

I understand your feeling about not getting much lately. Haven't got one back in about two weeks, but it seems to be slow for everyone.

Agreed, outside of a few people on here (I'm talking about you, Riggs
) it's been slow.
Anyway... Got two yesterday.
Bobby Doerr, 3/3. Really wanted to find a vintage to send him, but of course, many are signed and in people's collections and it gets expensive to find ones that aren't. I think I'll break down, get one, and do a questionnaire and send Bobby $20 for all the times he's signed for me (I've sent him money before), but what a great guy. Even signed the back of the HOF postcard like I requested.

Larry Seiple, 2/2. Another SB SM to add to the set. Really need to get more of these to send.

You talkin about lil ol me?!?!
Im starting to like those pro set SM cards. Very clean, great set to try & build. Lovin the Bobbys also. Dont think there is a better guy out there for the TTM hobby & it shows with all the autographed base cards on feebay. Its almost stupid to try & find an unsigned card & there no-where to be found & when you do come across one, Your going to pay a bit more.

Haha, yup. Yu've been raking forever it seems!
And I agree. I'll find one somewhere without paying an arm and a leg.

3 today? Wow.
Maxie Baughan, 1/3. Signed the 8x10, but kept the custom and my card. Fine that he kept the custom, I was just trying to get one for my brother (I mentioned that) and sorta bummed he kept the Philly I paid $3 for, but it's fine. Future HOF'er signed my 8x10 nicely, can't complain.

Peyton Manning, 1/1. Almost felt compelled since everyone else on here has gotten him recently.

Ed Mickelson, 2/1. Spent 11 years in baseball (mostly the minors) and has microscopic stats. Played with the Cubs in '57. Sent a nice looking signed 4x6 (personalized to my last name..) and a typed letter about his book he has published and he wrote some stuff on there. Gave me his email, I'll probably shoot him one and thank him for signing and for the picture.
